Last evening on the Maitai green the president (Mr F. Board) handed over to the members a very fine silver cup presented by Mr F. Fitzgibbons, (who was unable to be present) for competition in the senior singles. The cup remains the property of the club and a replica will bo presented to the winner. Three hearty cheers \yero given for Mr Fitzgibbons in appreciation of his sportsmanlike action.
