Nelson and Hutt grown tomatoes are now increasing in quantity with only a fair demand maintaining on account of the recent heavy Rarotongan shipment. Green peas and new potatoes ✓ show an improved demand with advanced values ruling. Recent values are as follows : Pears: Winter Cole, choice, 15s to 16s, others 11s to 14s; Nelis, choice, 12s to 13s, others 9s to 11s. Lemons: New Zealand gro\Vn, 16s to 17s, others 13s to 14s.
