BUILDING PERMITS
INCREASE IN VALUE IN CHRISTCHURCH

CHRISTCHURCH, Ist Dec. Figures covering the value of building permits issued by the Christchurch City Council for November show a gratifying increase over those for the corresponding month last year. The increase, when individual wards are considered, is most noticeable in the inner area, the value this year being about £13,500 in excess of the previous year.
