CHRISTCHURCH, Ist Hoc. Births registered in Christchurch in November show a drop of 50 from the figures in the previous November. Registrations totalled 193. It has become a recognised feature that in times of sustained economic stress and unemployment, the birthrate, declines sharply. Other causes may have contributed to the present position. hut the fact that unemployment has been prevailing for about a year has a big significance. O
