It was simi- : lar. She worked for Robinson from 19th April to 4th May, when she left' because she thought he was drinking and was nervous. • ,-'■
Defending counsel lengthily ' crossexamined Sergeant Clarke on the reasons why Robinson wris taken to the waiting room instead of direct to Inspector Cornish, especially in view of the fact that Robinson was given four days' liberty after his first statement. Clarke denied anything unusual in regard thereto.
