THEFT OF SUITS
AN AUCKLAND BURGLARY

AUCKLAND, This Day
William Beece Campbell, aged 22, charged with breaking and tentering Alex Costello's clothing shop in Karangahape Road and stealing two suits valued at £9 was remanded to 16th. Evidence was given that the safe was removed from the main shop to a back room on Tuesday night but resisted all attempts to open it. it contained £SO and documents. Accused was arrested in a pawnbroker's while allegedly attempting to dispose of one of the missing suits.
