NEW COMET
DISCOVERED BY SYDNEY ASTRONOMER

(Received 9th June, 9.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day,
Mr W. F. Gale, a local astronomer, states that he discovered a new comet and gives its position as right ascension 21 hours 38 minutes, declination south 51 degrees 38 minutes. He says it presented a diffused circular mass condensed near the middle. The comet is visible only by telescope, and is near Theta.
