Giving evidence before the Royal Commisison on picture shows, Sir Victor Wilson, President, of the Motion Picture Distributors, estimated the capital invested in picture shows in Australia was £25,000,000, and tho annual attendance 150,000,000. He denied that Americans had a strangehold on the industry. There was not tho slightest difficulty in showing good British or Australian films.
