News regarding Trotsky and others emanated from Berlin. It has not been confirmed that the actual trial has opened, though there is ground for belief that some sort- of interrogation occurred.
The “Daily Telegraph’s” Riga correspondent suggests that the Central Control Commission is constituting itself a party jury to meet in a few days and arraign the leaders of the opposition.
KRASSIN’S MISSION TO LONDON

The ’■Telegraph's"' diplomatic correspondent. says that Krassin s interview with Sir Austen Chamberlain, Foreign Secretary, with reference to credits prow ed fruitiess, the Foreign Secretary intimating, as previously, that Soviet propaganda, aggravated by the support ot the British miners' strike, was not calculated to facilitate the aims of Krassin's mission.
