KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR
TWO WOMEN INJURED (United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Knocked ilmvn by a motor car in Dominion Road last night. Airs Margaret Holder, aged 29. suffered serious bead injuries, and Airs Grace Brand, aged 30, scalp wounds. Both were sent lo hospital, the former being in a very serious condition. The car was driven by Edmond Essery and struck the ladies as they were crossing the road. The driver in swerving in an attempt- to avoid them drove into a telegraph post, tli" car being considerably damaged.
