London is discussing the world’s worst tunes. Mr Ramsay MacDonald has come down crushingly on “The Red Flag.” and Sir Richard Terry singled out “The Midshipmite.” Tosti’s “Goodbye,” and “The Rosary” as the world’s worst songs. To the question, “What do ‘you’ consider the worst tune in the world?” there were some astonishing answers. They included the tunes of the British and Japanese National Anthem (two votes each) and “There is a happy land,” “The Soldiers’ Chorus” in “Faust,” the “Old Hundredth,” “Auld Lang Svne,” “Eat More Fruit,” and 'Thora” (one vote each).
