The report of the Inspector-General of the Military Forces was tabled. It states that more money is needed and that the training period for citizen forces should at least he equal to the prewar period. lie adds that if the serious position in regard to material was to he rectified within reasonable time the purchase of war material from abroad could not be avoided.
