MOUNT LOGAN CLIMBED

VANCOUVER, July 14

A Canadian expedition successfully climbed Mount Logan, 19.850 foot, in tlie Yukon territory, near the Alaska boundary, the highest peak in Canada and the’ third-highest in the American Continent. It was hitherto unsealed. The expedition was led by Captain MeLoarthy. Mount Logan is considered only second to Mount Everest in the formidable nature of the harriers. It is the second highest peak in North Amori- a. Elaborate preparations were made and several months spent in establishing bases and supply depots.
