The Daily Chronicle lobby correspondent says that the Liberals have chosen Thursday for the discussion of the vote for the Navy, hoping to get a Government statement regarding the building policy. Cabinet to-morrow will receive the report of Lord Birkenhead’s committee, whose’, decision in favour of a programme of four cruisers the Admiralty strongly criticises. Indeed, the Sea Lords are in revolt again and Wednesday a Cabinet is likely tu provide a lough passage'. .Mr Bridgeman. reinforced by a strong Conservative group, will put up a stubborn light for eight cruisers, or at least six, as the Australian Government is finding two, 1 nless Cabinet sanctions a full programme we may see a few resignations.
