TENNIS-GI.DB DANCE
Motueka Tennis Gliib annual dance was held: in the Institute Hall Mast evening. The hall was decorated, with numerous streamers in cardinal and blue (Duller colours) and brown and white (Bay colours). About 60' couples were present, quite a; good turn put, .considering the inclemency of)the" weather-, Tlie Duller and Goldeni Bay-Alotuieka-teams were the guests of, eveningvil Excellent music was .rendered by Mr. Harold .Williams' Orchestra, while Major D. W. Talbot made a-'capable M.C. Everything, went with,, a swing, from the start, and the dancers seemed., to enjoy every moment of the evening,:. the function proving a great success! When; the sapper waltz, was in progress the coloured streamers were let. down among the dancers. ~ '• . . i.W Great credit is due to the. ladies of, the Tennis Club and friends for there??-, cellent and bountiful supper .provided and dispensed by them during the evening. ... .A.-V-cspW
