SENTENCES AT CHRISTCHURCH

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day
Margaret Thomson, 42, and Lilian Esther Hevwood, 62, both married, were charged this morning with shoplifting and sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment Counsel said the women had been talcing a fair amount, of mild drugs. Their husbands were in good financial positions.
