JUDGE'S COMMENT ON PTtEV LENCE OF THEFT

AUCKLAND, This Day
At the Supreme Court Mr Justice Uerdman se itenced William Edward Kemp to reformatory treatment not exceeding two years for the theft of trust money when lie was employed as a postal officer at Waiuku. The judge said:
“Nowadays nothing appears to he sacred, i don’t- say this obtains only in Government employees, hut we know it obtains among people employed by local bodies and in business.”
