PNEUMONIC NOTIFICATIONS

DUNEDIN, This Day
During the last 24 hours there have been thirteen notifications of pneumonic cases in Otago and Southland, and two deaths in Dunedin.

The Health Department reports that the cases of pneumonic influenza and pneumonia in the various health districts'for the week ended yesterday were as follows: — Auckland : Pneumonic influenza, cases 18, deaths 7. ‘ Pneumonia cases 9, death 1.
Hawke’s BayPneumonic influenza case 1, death" 0 Pneumonia case 1, ‘death 0.

Wellington Pneumonic influenza cases '5, deaths 2. Pneumonia cases 3, deaths
Canterbury: Pneumonic influenza cases 12, deaths 1. Pneumonia cases 5, deaths
Otago: Pneumonic influenza, cases 55, deaths 19. Pneumonia cases 2, death 0. North Auckland '(ports no case? of influenza or pneumonia for the week The Health Department states that the figures quoted above strengthens the view that the'j)resent influenzal epidemic is in no wav dissimilar from that cf 1920.
AUCKLAND, This Day
Three pneumonic rases of influenza were reported to-day, also one fatal case at Walton. The total for the month so far is 34, including three deaths.
