j .. LONDON, Nov. 30. In the House of Commons, asked to state the present strength of Britain, United States, and Japan in capital ships, Mr Eyres Monsell replied that there were 23, 26, and 15 respectively of which one, eight and five respectively were dr)e to be scrapped.
