CABLE TRAFFIC
UNPRECEDENTEDLY HEAVY
{l ? ,v Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Australian & fCZ. Cable Association.)
LONDON July 20. The Australian Press Association learns that the commercial cable traf|fic between Britain and Australia, is now unprecedentedly heavy. Commercial authorities are of opinion that this is dueHo the necessity' for caution in view of the unstability of prices. At the same rime there are signs oi improvement in Australasian trade, and a further easing of exchange difficulties. Excessive cabling is partly due to the placing and fulfilment of overseas orders which have ’been held up owing to recent strikes.
