LIGOURI CASE
NO APPEAL (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.) SYDENY, July 21. Counsel for Sister Ligouri decided not to appeal against the verdict, as Sister Ligouri stated when she brought the action that she did not want damages, but desired to, vindicate her character. She considers the jury’s answers a thorough vindication, and that no good, purpose would be served by appealing.’
