SOLAR ECLIPSE
OBSERVATIONS FROM A HTPEO PLANE.

NEW YORK, May 14,
Professor David Todd, the astronomer, will observe the solar e-.'t’psa on May 29th from a hydroplane a t , an elevation of from ten to fifteen thousand feet. The hydroplane will be transported on board a steamer to a oo’iH in the Atlantic approximately SOO n' : :os Avards of Fret-own, Sierra Leone, where the flight will be made. The hydroplane will return to the steamer’s deck when photographs have been taken and observations made.
