NELSON POULTRY ASSOCIATION
The Neteon Poultry, Pigoon, and Canary Association held the.r _ second series of score card competitions at Opie’e rooms l on Saturday evening, before a large and interested audience# most of those present scoring tire birds. Old. English Game were staged, and providedl the competitors with ample scope for the exercise oi their judgment. At the conclusion of the test Mr S. Y. Wearing score-carded each bird separately and earned the thanks of the meeting for the able manner in which he handled the btirds and answered tbo numerous questions thap were put to him.
The subject® chosen for next Saturday are Rose-Combs and Rekin Ban* tains, and should prove very interesting. The secretary reports tht't the show dates have been altered to July 24th, 25th, and 26th, and that the revised list of judges is as —Old English Game and Game Bantams, Mr. E. B. Martin ; utility ,;cßs®es, Mr E. Oussen ; Andalusians, Minorcae, Anconas, Hamburgs, and Langshans, Mr F. Plum; Orpingtons, C’ampnes, Plymouth Rocks, and ducks, Mir A. G. Betts; W' ,an j dottes, Amercan Leghorns, Rhode Island Rede, and fancy, poultry, Mr J. Hockey ; fancyjngeons, Mr E. D. Barry; homers, Mr. G. King; canaries, Mr J. A. Stringer; mules v and finches, Mr. A. Huggins.
