A ballot of the Australian Workers’ Union throughout the ‘Commonwealth decided substantially in favour of arbitration, as to direct action, for the future policy of the union. • ' The Australian Labour Party has chosen Mr Ryan, Queensland 1 Premier, now en route to England', and Mr Anstey, Federal legislator, at present in England, to represent Australia at > the international Labour Conference to bo be held at Lausanne coincident with the Peace Conference.
