(United Press Association) (PAHIATUA, This Day. Mr J. .Harold' Smith, solicitor, who contested the Pahiatua seat in 1899', has been approached to stand as Reform candidate, and has- consented, subject to being satisfied it is the general .wish of the electors. « Mr' R. B. Boss, ex-member, says he has definitely decided to come,out as an Independent candidate.
