MOTOR TRIP TO MOTUEKA
ADVANCEMENT S 0 CIET V' S EXCURSION.
The motor car excursion to Mctuek.i and Riwaka, ut hit h was arranged bv the Nelson Advancement .Society, is being carried out this afternoon. Nine car loads of excursionists left town between H o'clock.and half-past- one, and a very interesting afternoon should be experienced. The Society has made arrangements to visit several of the largest hopgardens and apple orchard.-, while a special display of apple-packing by experts will be given in Buxton's store on the Motueka wharf. The following were tile directions handed to motor car drivers To Robt. Atkins' hop garden, Whakarewa road, Motueka. 2. To W. Atkins' hop garden, ne.-.r Riwaka bridge. To \Y. Rowling's hop garden, Riwaka. To SyJ. Rowlings' apple orchard, Riwaka. To H. Everett's apple orchard, Riwaka. To Buxton's store, Motueka wharf, for apple packing. Note.—Each car party to arrange time for returning to Nelson.
