SOUTHLAND LAND LEASE
"THE PURCHASER CAN GO TO LAW." (United Pkess Association.) MARTON. Feb. 13. Regarding the statement in the message from Invercargill made by Mr Brighton re the coal lands lease—that he" intends to get the titles —the Premier told a "Rangitikei. Advocate" representative this-afternoon that Mr Brighton can get the title to the surface rights, but nothing more, which was all that was contained in his lease. If he is not satisfied, the law courts of the Dominion are open to all,, and he can go ahead.
