CONSTABLES SENT TO PRISON
ASSAULT ON A MAN AND HIS WIFE. (Pbxss Association —Coptbioht.) (Received Feb. 14, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 13. Constables Wetherill and Smith -were sentenced to 12 months, and Constable Brooks to four months at the Old Bailey for assaulting a linotype operator and his wife who wer e waiting for a tram in the early morning at Hoxton.
