MEXICAN REBELLION
MARTIAL LAW PROCLAIMED. (Prsss Association. —Copyright.} MEXICO CITY, Feb. 11. The rebels have proclaimed martial law. Information as to the exact fate of General Madero and his supporters is not obtainable. General Diaz ordered little fighting, hoping to capture the Madero following alive. WASHINGTON, Feb. 11. Two cruisers have been ordered • to Mexican waters to protect Americans. MADERO STILL AT THE PALACE. - (Received Feb. 12, 9.30 a.m.) MEXICO CITY, Feb. 11. Madero - has not fled, but remains at the Palace. It is- reported that unofficial peace negotiations between Madero and Diaz are proceeding. (Received Feb. 12, 11.40 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 11. / Pedro Sascurain, Mexican Foreign Minister, telegraphs the Embassy that Madero still holds the capital. The rebels merely captured the arsenal. Fighting is momentarily expected.
