CHEESE INDUSTRY
IMPORTANT MEETING AT EKETAHUNA. (United Press Association. ) EKETAHUNA, This Day. Twenty-nine delegates. representing nine factories, met at Eketahuna- yesterday, and decided to form* a Bush Districts Cheese Factories Association for the benefit of the industry. Matters covered by discussion were joining the Employers' Association: purchasing farmers' supplies in bulk; carriage of cheese on railways in insulated vans instead of trucks covered with tarpaulins ; regulation of local prices weekly instead of fortnightly; Home shipments; opening up outside markets: method of weighing : home sales : freight : and more extended account sales. A further conference will be held to adopt a constitution.
