MONASTERY PILLAGED
TUPJvS CUT A .MONK TO. PIECE'S. A CHILD IMPALED. ATHENS, Nov. 5. At Satitisu.. near Kozani, the Turks, pillaged a monastery of the Virgin. They cut a monk in pieces, impaled a three year old child, and massacred many of the inhabitants. The Turks defeated at Yenidje consisted of the Serres division of 25,000, with guns. The field in the vicinity is covered with dead. v and the roads towards Salonica are strewn with equipment. The army reached Salonica in complete disorder.
