RAILWAY ACCIDENTS IN AMERICA.

A railway car was thr< \vn down an embankment on the Grand Trunk Railway, near Varney, through a broken rail. Sixteen were injured, tv.o fatally. A collision occurred between two trains on the Canadian-Pacific-Pontiao line. A second-class car was telescoped, and all the occupants wer e injured, five fatally.
