AVALANCHES IN AMERICA.
RAILWAY" MEN KILLED. (Phess Association. —Copyright.) NEW YORK, March 9. A gang of men engaged in clearing a snowslide from the tracks of the Rio Grande-Southern railway were overwhelmed by an avalanche. Five were killed and many injured. The tracks have been blocked by heavy avalanches several times previously.
