ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A YOUNG WOMAN'S SUICIDE. ; (United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. Esther Reveleys, a single woman, about 26 years of age, employed as housekeeper at Racecourse Hill, was found dead in bed at 6even o'clock on Friday night. She had been about the house as usual durinjj the evening, and appeared to be in her usual state of health, except that she complained of a head ache. When called for tea, she was found lying in a pool of blood, having cut her throat. She had been in indifferent health for some weeks, and it is believed that the sudden recurrence of her illnets partly unhinged her reason. FATAL FALL OF ROCK. (Rec. March 4, 8.30 a.m.) CAPETOWN, Yesterday. By a fall of rock at the Simmer and Jack Mine at Johannesburg, six native* ?ud one white man were killed.
