FURTHER PROCEEDINGS. (United Press Asscciation.) .PALMERSTON N.. Thursday. At the National Dairy Show to-day there was a large attendance in spite of the rain. The milk-testing competition for farmers' sons and daughters waswon by Fred LumJey.. of Ashurst school. At- the annual meeting c-f the Rom.ney Marsh Breeders' Association Mr. A. Matthews, of Wairarapa. was elected president. A motion was carried that with a view to making- an outlet for New Zealand lambs special correspondents bo appointed abroad. The championship -shields i'cr this year were allotted to Otago and M.anawatu. Th-e National Daisy Conference concluded' to-day, when several valuable papers were read.
