It was resolved —"That the secretary write to the Agricultural Department asking that a permanent inspector be annotated for Motueka and surrounding districts : that the Fruitgrowers Society be permitted to submit the name of an inspector to the Department for approval: and that the appointed inspector make a regular monthly report to the Society, which report to be public property, and if necessaiy to be published in the local newspapers." .
