AUCKLAND, Saturday. The Otago versus Auckland football match was played to-day at Alexandra Park under ideal weather conditions and in the presence of some 3000 spectators. Tho contest was the last of the season for .the Ranfurly Shield, and resulted in a victory for Auckland by 11 points to 5.
