WELLINGTON, Saturday. The representatives of Taranaki and Wellington met on the Athletic Park thi afternoon, the game resulting m a win tor the home team by 13 to 8 The game . was very uninteresting, although last and was almost one long scramble. A hi-'h wind was blowing and while playing against it neither side scored. lhe fiilt spell ended in favour of Taranaki by eight points to nil, C. Sheahan and Tamer scoring tries, the second being converted by Stohr. In the second spel Ready and McLeod scored tries for Wellington, Evenson potted a goal and Ryln placed a penalty goal. Wellington were without the service of Milchuison, and Taranaki of Hunter. Mynott, Hard- ' greaves and Frewin.
