The constituency of the Middle District University College, consisting of members of the Upper House residing in the provincial districts of Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Nelson, and Marlborough, and' members of the Lower House representing co jstitiieiioies within these districts have elected Sir Robert Stout (21), Captain liussell (20), and Dv Newman (16), M.H.R.'s, and Dr Chappie (15), to bo. four of twelve members of the University Council' The fifth candidate was Mr J. Graham M.H.K.
