UPPER MOUTERE ROAD BOARD.
The monthly meeting of this Board was held on Saturday last. Present : All the members but Messrs Harvey and Bockmann. A letter was read from Mr J. D. Beusernann, tertius, re alteration iv his road rate. Resolved, That the Clerk write to him and inform him that he must give notice in writing. Letter read from Mr G. Bensemanu and Joseph Eggera, asking for assistance to make a road through Mr Duval's land t) their property. Resolved, That as soon as the Board is in possession of funds they will assist them, the money accruing from their property having been spent lower down the valley. Resolved. That Messrs Beuke, Bensemann, and Perry inspect the road in Blackbird Valley near Lankow's with power to act. Resolved, Thrab permission be given to Mr Drogemuller to fence in a piece of an old road through his property. Resolved, That Mr Beuke employ a man to fill in ruts near Mr F. Avers. Warrants were signed for £6 16s,
