" Sydney Morning Herald " on the New Zealand Loan.
Sydney, July 26. Referring to the New Zealand conversion loan, the Sydney Morning Herald doubts whether it is wise of New Zealand to renew the debt at 3£ per oent., because tbe effeot will be to increase the oapital amount of her debt, whioh is already Very large. The Herald thinks the credit of the Colony not yet sufficiently good to justify the hope that the loan will go off except at a considerable discount. _■
