Sir J. Sector and the Victorian Government.
Melbourne, July 27. The Government has been taken completely hy surprise at Sir J. Heotor replying that he has nothing further to report on the Victorian coalfields. They assert that they were given distinctly to understand that the first report was merely a preliminary one. Sailed— Elder-lie for Dunedin.
