Remembrance Day
WELLINGTON, Fri. (P.A.)-Remem-brance Day, which commemorates the First and Second World Wars, will be observed on Sunday, November 6, states a Gazette notice published last night. “Observance of this day should be similar to that of Remembrance Day last year,” states the notice. “Two minutes’ silence will be observed from 11 a.m., and all vehicular traffic suspended during that period.” The Government suggests that church services should«begin at 10.45, so that the two minutes’ silence can bo observed at 11 o’clock.
