French Cal! To Germans
BERLIN, Fri. (10.30 a.m.).—A call to the German people never to try to rebuild the German Reich was made by General Pierre Koenig, retiring French Military Governor, when taking leave of Berlin’s western city administration today. He said he was convinced that the problem of Europe lay in th.e solution of the Franco-German problem. Frau Louise Schroeder. acting Lord Mayor, thanking General Koenig for “his help in the fight for freedom,” said: “Help us when you return to your country to build up our Germany, not as a danger for our neighbours, but as a peaceful friend to Europe.”
