Finance Assurance For Harbour Bridqe Sought*
WELLINGTON, Fri. (So.)—Dr A. M. Finlay (G—North Shore) yesterday sought in the House of Representatives an assurance from the Minister of Finance (Mr Nash) that financial considerations would not be allowed to delay the building ol' the Auckland Harbour bridge. Dr Finlay quoted the Mayor of Takapuna (Mr J. Guiniven) as having said before the Local Government Commission that the Government could not afford to build the bridge.
