Social Democrat" Policy For West 1 Germany
BERLIN, Thu. (11 a.m.).—Dr Kurt Schumacher, West German Social Democrat leader, today outlined a four-point- programme of priority tasks fo rthe Western German’s Federal Government. It is:.— (1) Recreation of the functioning of the Gorman state. (2) Redistributio>n of income ’ so drastic that it approaches, in effect, redistribution of property. (3) Socialisation of key industries and the credit system so as to make it imposible for private interests to convert their money into political power as they did by financing the Nazi Party. (4) Development of a Federal housing and refugee policy financed by Federal funds.
