Hospital Salaries

WELLINGTON, Thu. (P.A.).— Mr C. O. Coad, former deputy directorgecieral of the Post and Telegraph Department, has been appointed by the Minister of Health (Miss Howard) as chairman of the salaries advisory committee established to review salaries and Conditions of employment of those hospital board employees who are not under awards or industrial agreements.

Mr Coad succeeds Dr M. H. Watt, who resigned on taking up duties with (Jnesco.

The Minister said yesterday arrangements are in hand for meetings during the next fortnight of the respective pecial committees concerned with •lerical officers, nurses, physio-tbera-ists, bacteriologists and radiographers.
