Casualties Im Burma
RANGOON, Mon. (1 p.m.)—Government troops inflicted heavy casualties on rebels, believed to be white-band members of the People’s Volunteer Organisation, who attempted to seize the upper-Burmese town of Katha, 180 miles north of Mandalay.
