French League Tour In 1951 ?
AUCKLAND, Thu. (P.A.)—The tour of New Zealand and Australia by a French Rugby League team, tentatively planned for* this season, but cancelled, may eventuate in 1951.
Mr Keith Sharpe, secretary of the Australian and New South Wales Rugby Leagues, who arrived at Auckland today in the Aorangi, conferred with French officials in England, and they reported that an invitation would be appreciated.
The New Zealand team is booked for an English lour in the 1951 season, but it may be possible to accommodate the French visitors before the Kiwis leave the Dominion.
