Shot Hamseif In Front Of Police
ADELAIDE. Fri. (1 p.m.) A youth shot himself dead in front of police officers who had previously questioned him about fin-ger-prints on a stolen car. He barricaded himself in a house and threatened to shoot if anyone approached. Later he went to the police station carrying a small-calibre rifle. For half an hour the police tried to persuade him to surrender the rifle. When the police at last closed in he put the rifle to his chest and fired. He died immediately.
